Difference between Reguler Course & Hobby Course?

In Reguler Course, students will learn a Jazz-based curriculum; there will be examinations between the levels and if you pass the exam you will get a certificate approved by the Indonesian Ministry of Education (Suku Dinas Pendidikan).

In Hobby Course, students can learn instruments not based on curriculum we have with selected Coaches. There will be no examinations and no certificate. The class is more flexible for you to dig in your instrument.

Are students doing class online or on-site?

By March 2022, D'Jazz Music School was still doing a hybrid class. This month there will be 2 onsite meetings and 2 online meetings, for April there will be 3 onsite meetings 1 online meeting and starting from May hopefully we can do all the classes onsite. But, if you prefer online classes, they are also available.

Are all the classes private or group?

All our Reguler Course and Hobby Course is a one-on-one class. Special Courses were made for group classes, but the class could start with 1 student.

How many session that I get for each month?

It is a once a week meeting, 4 times in a month.

Is there any age limit to join courses at D'Jazz Music School?

We suggest starting from 5 years old, you can do trial session first.

What would our class schedule look like?

For both Regular Course and Hobby Course there are choices ranging from;
 • 30-minutes weekly sessions
 • 45-minutes weekly sessions
 • 60-minutes weekly sessions

And for the course days;
 • Tuesday - Friday : 09.00 - 20.00
 • Saturday : 09.00 - 15.00

> There is no class on Sunday, Monday and National Holiday

Is it possible to join the course if I do not have the instrument?

Practice is the key for your learning progress, so we recommend you to have the instrument.

For online classes you must have the instrument during the classes.

If you do not have the instrument yet, you can contact us for recommendations.

What is trial session and how can I get a trial session?

Trial is 15 minutes free session where you can meet with your selected Coach. In this session you can ask anything to start the course and get to know your Coach.

Can I do the trial without the instrument?

For trial, you need to have the instrument with you during the session.

Is there any registration fee?

Yes, there is a registration fee of Rp. 850.000,- for your enrollment as a new student at D'Jazz Music School.
