Job Description :

​The ideal candidate for this position will be a motivated, creative, and resourceful musician who is committed to excellence in teaching, has a good track record as an educator/ a good academic standing, and enjoys working with people from different age groups. This is a 12-month part-time position with renewable contract.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities :

• Conduct weekly one-to-one and group classes

• Determine best-practice and set standards with every student/class

• Compile and submit Quarterly student report using the tools provided

• Have an understanding of individual student needs and capable of tailoring short and long term study plan

• Understand the direction of the company and able to prioritise tasks

• Guide students to develop a study habit and encourage collaboration with others

• Contribute positively to the D'Jazz Music Indonesia community and music community in general

Required Skills :

• High-level guitar skills

• Advanced guitar training

• Intermediate to advanced understanding of jazz pedagogy

 

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's Degree (S1) or equivalent, preferrably in music performance/pedagogy

• Minimum 1 year of teaching experience

• Open to different musical styles and ways of teaching music

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• Has a passion for community building and being a role model
